Shots – Square releases assets for Nier
Square Enix has sent over some shots from Nier for PS3 and Xbox 360.
In Nier, you play as the game’s namesake has he sets out on a quest to discover a cure for his daughter, who is infected with the Black Scawl virus.
He not only has allies on his side during his journey, but a mysterious book too, and he uses both to fight some really odd looking creatures.
Developed by cavia Inc., the action-RPG’s release date has not been announced, but it’s expected sometime this spring.

next great story? Drag on Dragoon (Drakengard) had a good one actually, the gameplay part was really lame though.

I’ve only heard one impression of this and I believe that was from the ‘Listen Up!’ podcast after Gamescom where the hosts said something along the lines of
‘I tell you what’s not good’
‘I don’t think we can talk about it’
‘Ok, it’s the opposite of far’

In all seriousness, for a new IP Square Enix is playing this far too tight to their chest.
They need to get the game out there and show it off to garner interest.

Tired of screenshots … i mean we need precise info at this point .
Like even if the other nier title is marketed toward asia with his young animeish Nier , will it be at least released in the west , for those not interested that much by played instead the “conan grampa” version ?
Or at least those who wanna play both version ?
