NowGamer to publish first online UK review of Mass Effect 2 tonight
NowGamer’s announced that it’ll be going live with the first online UK review of Mass Effect 2 tonight at 1am GMT.
The general embargo for online reviews is Tuesday morning at 8:00am, with NG originally due to publish the review a full 24 hours before the embargo on Monday.
But now you get it even earlier. Hooray.
Some magazines have already come in with their review of the game including OXM, who gave the game a 9.5/10 last a couple of weeks back.
The game’s out on Tuesday in the US, and next Friday – as in seven days time – for 360 and PC in the UK.
The game’s opening eight minutes got released this morning.

As a journalist, whatever way you wanna act on it, it is pretty much win.
But personally, having spoilers outed to you while watching videos for details, not so much.
It’s gonna be pretty difficult to write up stuff for Zone of the Enders 3 when they announce it (SHUT UP, IT’S COMING!
).

Reviews had to come out early because the game is all over the internet. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised the graphical upgrade

Early? It’s out next week…
Also, too me the graphics look great but not to bumped from the first one. Just this time round they are much steadier (framerate, screen tearing wise).

Well for the past couple weeks I replayed ME on the PC so I can have a sheppard to import. My save on my 360 got corrupted. Anyway, I put ME2 in last night after weeks of playing ME and there definetly a difference in graphic quality. Onlineatron, maybe your comparing the 360 version, I can’t say… but absolutely there is a difference on the PC.

It will have had some upgrades by default anyway. UE3 is much better now than when Mass Effect 1 launched.
