Yakuza 3 dated for March 12 in UK

Sega’s confirmed that Yakuza 3 is to release in the UK on March 12.
The Japanese GTA-styled game finally got confirmation of a Western release last month, nine months after its Japanese release.
The firm confirmed a while back it will release Yakuza 3′s sequel in Japan on March 18.
The game will contain Japanese voiceovers with English subtitles, and not an English voicing cast as Sega previously suggested.
Sega’s also released new screens, render art and the cover-art, which confirms the validity of the artwork found yesterday.
Find them below.

Shame the box art’s the same as the US version. And that it’s launching three days after FFXIII. But you can’t have everything.
Do we know if the content’s made it over uncut yet? There were rumours before of them removing the hostess bars and stuff.

It passed without any cuts.

That’s slightly different though. The BBFC didn’t ask them to remove anything but that’s not to say they didn’t remove anything before they gave it to the BBFC. Where’s our resident BBFC mole?
On another point… that’s a lot of cut-scenes!

If I had the choice (which I don’t, because I don’t have a PS3) then I’d pick this over FF without hesitation.

When would it be ok to start moaning for a western release of 4?

Releasing this along-side FFXIII and GoW3 isnt a very wise move on Sega’s behalf.

If they had have kept it back until nearer the end of the month, then maybe it would have done alright.

Splinter cell as long as it doesn’t get delayed AGAIN
But really why aren’t more things getting pushed into april. FAR TOO MUCH STUFF in feb and march
@ 11 – how so?

I must admit, for any publisher of a lesser game being released in feb and march, have only themselves to blame for poor sales.
