Wii Play is best-selling game of all time in US
NPD’s confirmed that Wii Play is the biggest-selling game of all time in the US, with Guitar Hero III and GTA: San Andreas coming second and third respectively.
No exact sales figures were given for the top ten games on the list, but it was confirmed back in October that Wii Play had sold over 11.1 million units, with 10.3 million units of GH3 moved and San Andreas selling 9.8 million units.
Thanks to massive sales in November and December, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gets itself on the list in fourth, with the original MW in seventh and Treyarch’s World at War at nine.

WOOO, i didn’t realise it was that popular, can you imagine the amount of plastic guitars thats gonna be filling up the landfills in the next 5 years, there will be people in shanty towns living in houses made out of guitar hero guitars strapped together with there…straps
