Hasn’t Halo always had fairly run-of-the-mill graphics? Why are people suddenly treating it as if it’s the pinnacle of 360 graphical prowess? It’s one of the most popular games on the platform, but it’s far from the best-looking.

Actually, Halo: CE and Halo 2 were arguably the best-looking console games of all time on their respective releases, so it’s only natural people will scrutinise Halo: Reach’s GFX after Halo 3 was a bit of a disappointment on that front.

Halo 2 was probably one of the best looking games last gen and a massive change from Halo: CE. Then Halo 3 came out and… Well, yeah. Impressed no one was.

You’d still have to port the engine; at which point there’s reason to just make a new one. They don’t emulate Halo 3.

Graphics don’t make a game good gameplay does and Halo has stepped up to the plate on every occasion.

No bullshots – they showed the game running live at QuakeCon. I believe it was the X360 build they demo’d, too, but somebody earl;ier in this thread said it was just a PC being controlled by an X360 pad and tbh, I don’t know for sure if that’s right or not.

But trying to prove something through pics without solid proof through videos (for the consoles and not PC)isn’t something valid and accurate.
Do you know how many times we’ve seen games been downgraded from their first official(even playable) trailers?
