With RE5: Gold Edition releasing soon, it won’t be long before Sony starts being more official about this.

I’m not sure if that’ll be a good day or not. Already there seems to be a lot of “Good Name”, “Bad Name” and that’s just from this thread. Hate to think what Destructoid’s audience will say.

Personally, I agree with Gheritt… But at least it’s got a name. I’ll just continue to call it the Wand.

Good name, but it won’t do well for them. “Arc” is a harsh consonant-sounding word drawn from science and whilst that will appeal to a male audience, it won’t do much to capture younger children, grey gamers and the stereotypically female casual crowd.

“Wii” is a soft sounding word that evokes “we”, thus implying a sense of togetherness and co-operation. Sony should have gone for something similar… “wand” really is their best option, IMHO.

Yep, classic jv.com, they dont actually state that the pics are from Sony. But they dont offer any sort of source either. Nor do they say that they arent official (and you’d sort of assume they are without being told otherwise.)

No idea, jeuxvideo.com are really obscure with their sources. I’ll read something on there then be forced to look around on other sites to know where its actually coming from.
I’d assume they’re official, but then i was unaware no other sites seem to have those pics so they might not be after all.

afaik it does 16bit color. so 65000 something colors.

but i think teh linked pics from gekidami, arent they some fanmade renders? But i have to say they do indeed look pretty official.
what i miss from these are the switchable button plates..
