Video of GRIN's Final Fantasy project leaked, was an FFXII spin-off

FFXII Fortress

A video has appeared on YouTube apparently showing GRIN's canned Final Fantasy project.

The video description ostensibly confirms the game as a Final Fantasy XII spin-off, taking place after FFXII itself and sequel Relevent Wings for DS. It was codenamed Fortress.

The description says the project's platforms were PS3, 360 and PC.

It also says the game's still in development, as reported last September. Eidos Montreal is rumoured to be working on it.

Near the end of last year, Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada said a project between the company and the developer was in the works.

Wada has also said in the past few weeks that he's open to a FF being developed outside of Japan.
