More countries to get Xbox Live Video Marketplace in the fall

According to a Microsoft fact sheet, ten more countries will be getting the Xbox Live Video Marketplace this fall.
In addition to the eight countries already enjoying movies and TV shows through regional partnerships with studios, networks and providers such as Sky, Netflix, Zune, and Canal+ Group, 1080p video is expanding to: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Bet that makes some of you very happy.

This fall. You make it sound very close.
It’s very strange though. I live in the Netherlands and already have access to Zune’s 1080p video streaming.

I think they are just expanding with more channels. The fact sheet just listed the more high profile ones, and I in turn listed them just in case there was one no one had. Different areas vary with content. Why it just can’t be a standard offering, with people able to pick and choose I have no idea.
I wish satellite and cable were that way too, personally. Choose which you want, block out the rest.
/end tangent that went nowhere

In other news, though, Greece is *still* not officially supported for XBL at all

Yup, Zune movie service is already up and running in Nordic countries. But I’d love to have more channels and better localization.
