Bungie mentions “super secret” Halo: Reach multiplayer mode

Bungie fans, be on red alert: the developer has confirmed there is a “super secret” multiplayer mode for Halo: Reach.
Announced during a listing of events the developer is holding during its annual Winter Pentathlon, it made a brief mention of the mode. Not much else was said other then that.
“Some number of players will square off against some number of other players in what will undoubtedly be a rousing and highly competitive game of something we’re not talking about yet!
“Points awarded for doing all kinds of untold stuff!” said the dev.
Halo: Reach releases this fall on Xbox 360. In case you haven’t already, check out the trailer from the VGAs from last month. Awesomeness on a stick.

ODST didnt. It’ll be interesting to see if this “super secret” multiplayer mode is the only mode the game will have or if there’ll be DM and stuff.

Firefight was multiplayer wasn’t it? I played with multi persons who were other players that were not me anyway. They spoke to me, it could have been the voices again I suppose though.

@Petulant Radish:
What do you think you are doing here? There’s no place for a voice of reason in a Halo-related thread
