Silent hill rip off?no thank you

Now that Silent Hill’s gone shit, the rip-offs are your best bet.

It doesn’t look much like Silent Hill anyway.

Apparently the Silent Hill remake on Wii is something else. As in, Something Else. Alan Wake looks appealing, though haven’t they cut back on the original sandbox template a fair bit?

Silent Hill Wii is completely different to anything else Silent Hill, its still loosely the same story and it has the same feel to it and shockingly its good aswell.

Alan Wake feels like American thriller TV Series #59756 with added irritating light mechanics.

How can we trust a man who bought Silent Hill Homecoming…. twice!?

I’m pretty sure in the most recent interview I read they said it was still ‘open world’ but that you’re more ‘directed’ than you would be in usual open world games. Quite what the point of it being open world is if you’re just being guided along all the time, I don’t know.

Looks more like Alone In The Dark then Silent Hill…

And Shattered Memories; Played it, beat it. Its crap.

Getting the cheapo Steam version reminded me how bad it actually is, its already un-installed. Homecoming really is a stupid big fat mess of a game.

Even if it had no connection to Silent Hill, even if it was set in say the Penumbra universe or something it would still be a terrible game.

Shattered Memories is’nt exactly a long game or all the difficult, it is very well made and its one of the best looking titles on the Wii. Hell in places the facial animation is better than some current HD efforts.

Fair dues if you disliked it but that makes you a douche sorry.

I think this could be rather very good or very shit, Remedy have never let us down though. Never played the Silent Hill games are they actually worth playing?

Yeah, it looks nice (for a Wii game), shame everything gameplay related about it is utter shit. Its probably the only Silent Hill game ever to not even be abit scary.
