Un-developed Burnout Paradise DLC included moon-driving
Criterion’s posted details of Burnout Paradise DLC that never made the cut, including driving on the moon, helicopters, time travel and planes.
The fact this is being posted probably means the developer’s “year of Burnout” was well-named: and over.
Need for Speed next. Hit the link for the full thing.

I wondered why it had gone quiet on the DLC front. I had assumed that meant another Burnout was on the way, but I’d forgotten about their NFS commitments.

Would it be a cheap knockoff moon like they have cheap knockoff of the Ecto-1 and the car from Back To The Future?

I hope them boys can whip up something good for the next Need for Speed. Shift seemed decent enough for it, so keep it to a sort of Burnout meets Shift type thing probably.
Or not. Similar to Need for Speed: Carbon’s good enough for me.

I hope they eventually put the DLC on sale. I’ll likely pick it up then and have some fun getting back into the game.

I recently started playing Burnout again (lost my save during death of original PS3) and had forgotten just how much fun it was. Like PT said, I hope they drop the DLC price at some point as it wouldn’t take much persuasion for me to grab it all at the moment…
