Mafia II out in T2′s fiscal Q3

Take-Two said in its full-year earnings call last night that Mafia II will hit in its Q3.

The means it’ll launch between the beginning of May and the end of July.

Wow, as far away as that? This seemed to be on the verge of release back at the E3 and Leipzig, and then it all went quiet. Guess it wasn’t quite as done as it appeared to be.

Looking forward to it immensely, though. Fingers crossed…

I could have seen this coming. This year i was in Germany,Cologne. In the business center at Take Two’s, we saw
a gameplay demonstration and interviewed one of the developers. He said that it was gonna be released in February. But after that event, it was rather quiet about
Mafia II. They just keep delaying it…

Maybe they are delaying it because many top titles are already coming in the first months next year. Not so much
in May/June/July as far as i know.

Yeah this could do pretty well with a summer release actually lets the hectic spring get out the way, will have to keep an eye on it!

No problem with the delay. In fact it’s nice to finally see triple-a games like “MAFIA II” being released in summer.
Also looking forward to it immensely …
