Split/Second confirmed for May, new trailer shows Dock level

splitsecond3

Disney’s just release a new Split/Second trailer, confirming the smash-racer for May release.

The footage shows of the game’s Dock level, and it’s looking splendid.

We got to see this recently, so we’ll have notes and an interview for you soon.

Check it out. Great stuff.

I really enjoyed the airport level demo, despite the rather large number of bugs. With some more levels and a good dollop of spit and polish this could well turn out to be my “other racing game” next to Burnout.

Wait, there’s a demo?

It was at the Expo, there’s not a ‘generally available’ demo yet. They could’ve never released the version I played there for download, it was too flakey.

Lets hope it isn’t an indicator of the quality of the final product, because I’m quite looking forward to this.

I’m sure they’ll get on top of it. Mostly the problems were down to getting stuck on scenery and such rather than full-blown ‘crash’ bugs. If you’ll pardon the obvious pun.

This does look great, hopes there’s some online multiplayer action too.
