Don't underestimate microsoft, these guys have enough blank cheques to line oxford street.

It would not surprise me in the least to see them either buy up and integrate a bigger online distributor or simply invest huge amounts of money and time into this.

The good thing about this isnt the mostly rip-off downloadable PC games, its the fact this opens up the PC for XBLA style games that can be played anywhere, under one Gamertag and with Achievements.

I know that - but common sense should say 'this game is old now, lets see if it actually works on Win 7, or at least be pro active and say it doesnt but there is a fix..'

OrphanageExplosion:
Oh gawd, why do you even know of that song? :D

Grimrita:
Its the publishers and NOT Steam/Valve that sets the prices.

It might be too little too late but someone has to muscle in on Steams crazy pricing. Consumers are downloading games at £40 - which is simply a joke for such crap titles like Modern Warfare 2.

And as for their customer support and service, it is shocking. Recently KOTOR was on sale for £1.74 - not much money but for the majority, it didnt work on Windows 7 - so the community had to rally round to conjure up work-a-rounds.
