Johnny Cullen becomes latest addition to VG247 team

cullen

We’re thrilled to announced that Johnny Cullen is to become VG247′s third full-time member of editorial staff, joining myself and Stephany Nunneley.

Cullen, based in Northern Ireland, came up through the VG247 community as a stand-in freelancer for gamescom this year, and has shown exceptional levels of commitment and dedication ever since.

He’ll will be starting work as our UK second-in-command straight after the New Year.

Congratulations, Johnny!

It’s the differenc between being a contributor and being an associate editor psxman.

And seriously awesome news, better than FFXIII. Well deserved, with a lot of late-Lucozade-fueled nights during GamesCOM.

Isn’t Northen Ireland part of the Uk Quiiick i always thought it was the Republic that was classed as apart.

#23

Jadeskye
14/12/09, 11:50 am

Northern Ireland is part of the UK, the Republic of Ireland is not, hence it is a ‘Republic’

#24

Johnny Cullen
14/12/09, 11:54 am

What Jadeskye said.

Northern Ireland is a part of the UK, with the Republic of Ireland seperate.

Yea thought so, we have terroists out there trying to attack us and we have a part of Ireland seperate from us, you think we would be united wouldn’t you

@ The hindle, a large part of modern politics surrounding that is because there were a number of irish terrorists ‘getting us’ :p

You should look into irish political history, it’s rather interesting stuff.

@ Hindle.
I reckon you have it a bit wrong there mate on the United bit.
Irish people do not want to be part of the UK no more than British people would want to be Irish.

As for the 6 counties, It is still on going with the British Government guaranteeing to accept the will of the people in the north if they decide they want to join The rest of Ireland and unite the whole country.
In fact anyone in the north can decide to hold either a UK Passport or An Irish Passport.
