Germans grab GT5 demo, take big screens and video
VideoGamesZone.de’s posted up 1080p screens and HD video from the imminent GT5 Academy Time Trial track. Take a look.
The track’s going to be available for download on December 17.
Truth be told, there’s not a huge amount to look at here. Unless what you want to look at is a track and a car.
GT5′s out next year.

What else is there to see in this type of racing game?

Lots of cars and lots of tracks?

I think he meant the content of the demo.
Two cars (even then, they’re the same make and model, but with tweaks each) and just the one circuit, which looks like Daytona to me.

fwiw, they didn’t like the demo much, if at all.

I’m having a blast with NFS shift atm and I can’t wait for this game.

Well seeing as its a competition i guess they cant offer loads of different cars and more tracks would defeat the point.

You’d think they’d add the Tokyo circuit.
I was curious to try that.

They liked the driving physics and that sort of thing, but complained that the spectators were ugly and the visual effect it has when you drive through sand or over grass is poor.
So pretty much like any GT game.

I have learned not to listen to german people when it comes to games that I am interested in. they’re negative nancies with weird priorities that suck the fun out of everything.
no offense, kollegen.

much prefer vg247, where you pretty much have to “buy” every game, sometimes even “buy it now”.
love is all you need, innit.

@johnnycullen – the Tokyo track is basically exactly the same as it was in GT3/GT4, just in HD.

Can’t say i’m all that impressed with what GT5′s been showing lately. Here’s hoping it doesn’t let down like the PSP version.

Slow as hell. Pretty bland. I prefer Ridge Racer or Motorstorm on PSP personally.
