First bit of artwork for Dead Space 2 revealed

The first glimpse of Dead Space 2 has hit the net, thanks to Game Informer revealing its January cover.

Looks like our hero got into a bit of a scrap with something non-human and very angry, if his suit is any indication.

Then again, the developers could be going for a more futuristic and snazzy look to the armor.

Gah, who knows. It’s cool looking though.

I hope thats a new armour he picks up and dosnt start with trying to pawn off the idea that it was totally like that in the first game as some other games do in their sequels.

Hmm… the press release didn’t mention 2010 like the MOH one did. My guess is a Jan or Feb 2011 release, similar to Dante’s Inferno. I hope so, or else I’m gonna have to start whoring for money.

Too many damn games already set for next year.

I loved the original Dead Space. This will be at or near the top of my must buy list for next year (assuming that it is getting released next year). Also, I hope with Glen Schofield bolting for Activision doesn’t hurt the game seeing that he was the driving force behind the original.
