New BioShock 2 trailer shows off Electro Bolt
The Electro Bolt plasmid from the first BioShock’s made it over to the sequel apparently unchanged, if the new gameplay movie after the break’s anything to go by.
It still stuns people so you can shoot them better. There seems to be a particularly tough lady at the end of the movie: you can shoot her in the face with a mini-gun and she doesn’t go down. She’s rough. She’s tough. She’s a bit mental, from the look of it.
The game’s out for PC, 360 and PS3 on February 9. Thanks, BD.

Tom Jones impressions aside, this doesn’t look tooo bad.
Just decidely uninspired.

may i pry into that comment there PUDding?
The original bioshock was crazy inspired in my opinion. Because this is a direct sequal it is now less so?

Gameplay looks as clunky as it was in the first one :-/ .

I didn’t find the gameplay “clunky” at all in the first game. I am not sure what you found “clunky” about the gameplay.

Electro bolt was just about my favourite plasmid. Super useful in a large number of scenarios.

Jadeskye, you may completely pry.
The first one wasn’t inspired in my opinion either, and now there is a sequel, you expect it to be inspiring?

well we differ on the opinion. I found bioshock very original both in artistic style, plot, location and a multitude of other aspects.
Granted sequels rarely offer anything other then more of the same, which in this case i think is a good thing. Not nesseserally more (or less) ‘inspiring’.
