dsill

DSi LL’s second Japanese week’s seek sales drop well back from its opening 100,000 to 67,000.

Apart from that, looks as though everything’s nicely up, there, aside from PSP go and 360. Hard lines.

Data below for the week ending November 29. Last week’s figures here.

  • DSi LL – 67,243
  • Wii – 46,673
  • PS3 – 46,558
  • PSP – 38,839
  • DSi – 37,021
  • DS Lite – 7,268
  • PSP go – 3,809
  • Xbox 360 – 3,685
  • PS2 – 2,057

It’s crazy that the XL version of the DSi is selling so much better than the smaller version. Who knew that oldies bought so much gaming hardware? :)

On a slightly different note, it appears that the launch of NSMB is responsible for the slight lead of the Wii this week… a lead that’s going to be completely crushed in a couple of weeks when FFXIII hits for the PS3.

The fact that a launch of a new Mario game could only make the Wii barely surpass the PS3 is kind-of sad.

Then again, as much as it pains me to say this, Nintendo deserves having a hard time, it’s like they are not even trying to put out (quality) software this year.
