Singstar hits 20 million units

Singstar’s sold 20 million units, Sony’s announced.

The game launched on PS2 in 2004, and is currently touting an upcoming Take That edition.

I always mean to buy either this or Lips for the missus as it’s the only game she would even contemplate playing and then only pissed with her m8s of course, which is fine by me.

I can never decide, Singstar seems to have the better catalogue and game modes but Lips has the wireless mics.

Most annoying…maybe Jan sales will make up my mind…?

lips also has the ability to put in your own songs, albeit sans words on the screen but still. Lips is also hella easy if that matters, you can’t actualy fail. Your score is just going to be lower. But if it was me? I would buy RB RB2 or Lego RB and pick from the huge catalogue online. My wife doesn’t play an instrument in RB, she just sings. We also own Lips and Singstar. But we really only play RB. Just my two cents, milage may vary.

I’d assume the SingStar ones do to seeing as they’re selling a couple of them with Beatles: Rock Band.
