Considering I dled the Bayonetta demo when it came out on the jap PSN this is a poor poor update.

There’s no doubt why they went with that character design as their main lead. The body type of the Bayonetta character is so rare that it stimulates the male brain with hyper interest I guess. How many women do you see walking around like that. I’ve only seen about 10 in my life time and yes they are fucking super HOT!

Yea it shows that playing an over the top action game with a long legged hot ass euro chic with guns attached to her high hills who spreads her legs in the air to kill enemies a great gaming experience.

Sony and Sega are beavering away on a fix for PS3 Bayonetta.
Probably similar to the one that was released for the PS3 version of Ghostbusters.
I didn’t find a lot wrong with the Jap version of the demo I played on my PS3, so it’s still a day 1 purchase for me.

no I don’t care what sony and sega are doing I’m just spot lighting that the main character’s sex appeal is swaying all these sex deprived game reviewers minds. How come Nariko didn’t get this kind of treatment? That’s in the same league as the Devil May Cry’s,Ninja Gaiden’s,and God of war’s.

Probably because the game wasn’t quite as good.
I every much doubt that because a bunch of pixels have been arranged in the shape of a reasonably attaractive lady who gets naked when she kills things could make somebody rate it higher.
In fact, if I was a reviewer I’d rate a game down for that fact as it is kind of embarassing.
The game is fantastic, that’s why it’s getting rave ratings.

I never actually played Ghostbusters, but I was under the impression that the patch improved texture resolution and framrate?
If I am wrong I apologise, but I sincerely believe that if Sony is working with Sega to improve Bayonetta then it will be a patch worth waiting for indeed.

The game just feels like a newer version of DMC to me with a girl. It should be better considering DMC4 came out 2-3 years ago.

The combat is smoother, it looks nicer and it plays better.
I’ve played every DMC bar 2 and Bayonetta plays better than all of them.

I’m always wrong when someone thinks differently. Nothing new.

Hell, I agree with you based solely on the demo. Or maybe you can only unlock the full beauty of the game with the full game/360 version. I don’t know, I’m not one to fawn over a videogame vixen and its gameplay didn’t seem to be better than DMC3′s (best in the series). I haven’t played the 360 version, so keep that in mind when I say the clock-tower level sounds to me like the (cut)scene in DMC3. What am I missing?

Ironically, the Japanese PS3 demo gave me a much better impression of Bayonetta than the European 360 version did, just because it has a much better selection of levels to give you a “feel” for the game.

Unquestionably more fluid on the 360 though.

the first DMC was the best game in the series, the third was good but way too cheap. DMC1 also had the coolest Devil Trigger.

you guys do realize this is a new IP, right? it had to have either the vixen or the violence.. and why is it okay to have a sex minigame and rivers of blood but not a sexy female protagonist? gameplay-wise it’s brilliant anyway, demo was the most fun hack n slash I’ve seen since the original DMC.

Thank you for pointing that out. Funny how I kept forgetting about ‘those’ minigames in the God of War games. I wonder if 3 will have one? Considering that Chains of Olympus didn’t?

Bayonetta is a wonderful slice of highly playable silliness. It’s fantastic and I for one can’t wait.
Here’s hopign that Sony and Sega get the fix out before the Euro version hits.

When did I say that a computer character’s sexuality mattered at all? I find it amazing that one person can say he thinks review scores are being swayed by a character dressed as a dominatrix that gets naked at the press of a button, then when someone defends the game and points towards a game that has a ‘sex mini-game’ with a male lead as a case in point, that guy gets lambasted.

I sincerely hope you guys grow up. I really do. As right now you are incapable of arguing any point without resorting to name calling or belittling people.
