Borderlands expected to become a “key franchise” for Take-Two

Borderlands’ expected to become a “key franchise” for Take-Two, according to both big bossman Strauss Zelnick and CEO Ben Feder.
This bit was cemented by the game’s “successful launch”.
So, it looks like there is more Borderlands in our future.
The call is ongoing, we’ll let you know if there is anything else you should be aware of.

great news. i just finished some sidequests and the storyquests of bl. i´ll be back for the rest of the sidequests and dlc. i really really enjoy this game. it´s just fun. it´s amazing what they created with this one. the gameplay is so addictive and the weapons are cool and fun. what i´d like to see in borderlands 2 would be a stronger story, maybe slightly improved enemy ai, more snow and cave ´wolds´. it also needs a lava level!

Excellent, I’m still rather enjoying Borderlands. Take that, Pachter!
Hmmm… suddenly it occurs to me that Pachter is kind of like Pac-Man in reverse, mindlessly regurgitating ghost shit.

Borderlands is a great game. I’ve only played it in split screen so for me it’s like a stylish Gauntlet. Love it.

the only problem i’ve had with it is as a PC gamer. I’ve noticed the save files are locally stored. So i got sick of playing with people who are level 9999
