Akihabara goes FFXIII-mental ahead of December 17 launch

ffxiiishops

Tokyo’s Akihabara stores are readying for the launch of Final Fantasy XIII by vomiting tinsel all over themselves, as you can see on Japanese blog Livedoor. Don’t look for too long: you may go blind.

The game’s out in the rest of the world on March 9. That’s assuming Japan doesn’t eat every copy in the meantime.

Thanks, Kotaku.

Next week? :D

They should be publishing the review in next week’s issue, as I dont think they would publish it a few days before release.

I’m really looking forward to XIII. I haven’t played a JRPG since Lost Odyssey back in February 2008.

I’m going mental too just waiting for this game. :)

Somehow the impatience has gotten a lot worse since they announced the date…
