Rumour: Edge of Twilight canned
Kotaku’s rumouring that the steampunky Edge of Twilight’s been whacked.
As has, apparently, its developer, Fuzzyeyes.
That’s it, really. It was supposed to release on PC, PS3 and 360 this year.

Not really surprising given how long it’s been in development, but a shame if it’s true because the last trailer looked pretty good. Sort of a Steampunk Fable with some Fallout 3 thrown in for good measure.

I had no idea this game existed but now I am sad it never got finished. It would have been the… third steampunk game? Fourth maybe?

Nooo! I wanted this game so bad! You should all watch the “Someone special” trailer (the one Blerk linked to) and be sad with me.

Not Canceled!

Development issues have caused a postponement of work on EoT with work on the title expected currently, to recommence around the second week of January. For which it would need a developer, so it’s great news to see its original one, firstly still open, and additionally, remaining in the driving seat.

The press release they just issued regarding this is written in quite the worst English I have ever seen in an (apparently) official document.
