Report: Sony to fix Bayonetta issues on PS3

According to a report over on Gamekyo (per Wearetheinternetz), Sega and Platinum Games are “taking responsibility” for the PS3 version of Bayonetta, and a team at Sony hard at work fixing the game.
When comparisons to the Xbox 360 version were made, the PS3 version was found to sport murkier graphics, longer load times, and bad framerates; therefore the team hopes to “guarantee” a better version of the game outside of Japan.
SEGA responded to the load time bit last month, stating that it was “well aware of this issue” and were “working on a solution”.
Looks like Sony to the rescue, then.

“The PS3 was never intended to be the porting console of this gen. With the universal success of the PS2 everyone thought the PS3 would be treated the same.”
Agreed, totally. No-one I knew thought the 360 would be leading (or so close to neck & neck) to PS3, we all thought it’d do well and then the PS3 would come out and sell much better because of the brand if nothing else, even without added niceness like Blu-Ray.
But it didn’t, and I think there’s a certain class of fanboys who have that sense of entitlement to Sony leading the games consoles who take it all very personally.
Just my observation; I’ve seen the kinds of behaviours several times when former format winners lose that crown, leaving parts of their fanbase desperately searching for someone to blame it on. Usually anyone but their champions.
