Uncharted 2 multiplayer map “The Fort” hits Friday for free
Looks like the Uncharted 2 DLC that was tweeted earlier will be released on Friday, along with a Double Cash Weekend.
It’s a new multiplayer mode called The Fort, which is based on the Fortress chapter of Drake’s Fortune.
According to Naughty Dog, it’s a “long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes” with tunnels leading into the basement, a shotgun in the center of the map, and an RPG to the side room in the crypt.
A couple new features were also added to the Multiplayer menu: Leaderboards and a player card.
But wait, there’s more:
When you join a competitive Multiplayer match on Thanksgiving weekend, you’ll be greeted with a slightly different look to our Heroes and Villians. It looks like Drake and Lazarevic had a few too many helpings of turkey (or Tofurkey), green bean casserole and, most definitely, sweet potato casserole.
We also flipped a few switches and bits here and there and not only is Double Cash weekend back, but you’ll be getting 2x the cash from any and all medals you are awarded during the course of a competitive or cooperative match. The per-match limits of $50,000 are still in effect, so if you’re just that good, you’ll be maxing out just about all the time.

Hope more free maps come, even with this added one the default amount of maps still isnt acceptable.

Was playign it today. This looks great, i love the setting of the first game.
The only thing that isn’t like the first game is the colour palette. And I can chnage that in photomode anyway.

I really want some VG247 people on my friends list in general.
I have BleakHarvest, JohnnyCullen and Psychotext and that’s all.
Although they are pretty much the cream of the crop.
By the way, I kick ass at U2, always finish 1st 2nd or 3rd place in it.

The only reason I expect people to remember is becuase NO_PUD is an anagram for Pound.
His name (without giving too much away) occurs when people get bored of their government and a genre of music. Two seperate words, not the same thing.
