Jurassic: The Hunted demo now on XBL for US

There’s a Jurassic: The Hunted demo up on Xbox Live, according to the Major.
Unfortunately it’s a US only affair at this point, but there is always hope for the rest of the world.
Hope, that is, if you like shooting dinosaurs and getting face to face with the terrible lizards.
It’s out for PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 right now.

You’re kidding? I will email Activison and ask. Hrmmmm… guess PS3 games aren’t all region free after all.

K, I sent the mail. The PR person I talk to always gets back with me, so hopefully he’ll know something soon.

Thanks.
It does seem strange to region lock a pretty low key release. It’s this and Bayonetta so far.

Where did you hear the PS3 version was region locked?

Whoops…seems it’s referring to the 360 version, which is usually the case with that console I’ve always presumed. PS3 version, according to Play-asia is region free, thank fuck.
Bayonetta will be region locked on the PS3, I hear.

Thought as much.
The Japanese version of Bayonetta is already out and it isnt region locked. To date no PS3 game is region locked.

I’d heard they were locking Bayonetta for the PS3. That info has actually turned up in a few mags. Not complaining though. One thing that pissed me off last gen was region locking.
Anyway…my bad. Happy to be proven wrong in this instance.
Cheers all.
