Poor textures can be seen on
Blades of Chaos (although the sound of them makes my spine tingle in a good way)
Some character models (The red titan and the Chimaera)
The centaur’s insides

PS3 Bayonetta has it’s issues. But I like both, Bayonetta edges it for me.
I’ve always been a sucker for Japanese craziness. This is no exception.

DMC had it’s issues. It was quite short, and the last boss was a let down. If Edge say Bayonetta is faultless, I am inclined to believe them from what I’ve played at the moment.

It was however a revolution for it’s time, but it is a star that has dulled over the years.

Bayonetta is frankly awesome and can’t really be compared to anything on the market at the moment IMO.

Off topic dont you think its weird by how many 360 exclusives get scored 9 or above with Edge, i mean i never believed people when they said they are bias but il admit i think they are now

Bayonetta is nothing like DMC either. Just because it’s the same genre of game and by primarily the same people doesn’t mean it’s the same.

Go and try it. Seriously. It’ll change your mind. It’s nothing against Sony the Bayonetta score. Don’t forget it’s coming out on PS3 too (albeit as a poor port from Sega, which still got 38/40 from Famitsu).
Famitsu scored Bayonetta 40/40, Edge called the game flawless.
And Eurogamer said
“The result is a game that exemplifies so much of what commentators claim has died in the Japanese game industry. A blast of creative brilliance, both technically accomplished, strategically deep and infused with rare imagination, Bayonetta represents the pinnacle of its chosen niche.”

Chains pushed the Psp to its technical peak thats why it deserved a much higher score. Ill agree with you on that the Ps3 does get some shit for some reason. What did Edge give Crackdown btw?

PS: You want to see bias, you should look at Gamestm.
They rated LBP a 9 if I remember rightly. And when it comes to multi-format releases they pretty much always review the 360 version.
In fact, I went a couple of months without seeing a single PS3 multi-format title reviewed.
In one of those issues there wasn’t a single PS3 game at all.
And they tend to rate PS3 games down too.

I don’t see any bias in that, Uncharted2 got a 9 .

Granted the sequel got a 7.
It all depends on how well the gameplay evolves.
God of War 3′s demo was good, but not as good as the Bayonetta demo.
GoW3 has a lot longer to go though.

for the record im not hating on Bayonetta as im getting it but my point is Edge give this a 10 but give all the Gow games a 7 when Gow is really good

Then play a God of War game and tell me how similar they are.
Two COMPLETELY different games. So, until you’ve played them both are you really qualified to comment?

It was in an interview where he said he doesnt play the Ninja gaiden games but looks at the Gow games something like that.

Although I’m not a huge fan of DMC, I might well have to give Bayonetta a butcher’s.
