Capcom announces Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition

Capcom has announced that it will release a boxed copy of Resident Evil 5 that contains all the additional DLC released, plus the upcoming Lost in Nightmares, Mercenaries Reunion, costumes and another TBA episode.

Called the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, it will retail for $49.99 as a single Blu-ray disc for PS3 or as a DVD with a token for the downloadable content for Xbox 360 on March 9.

Lost in Nightmares and Costume Pack 1 will be released on February 17 and 18 for 360 and PS3, respectively.

Another episode (title TBA) along with Costume Pack 2 will hit on March 3 and 4 for 360 and PS3 respectively.

HA so only a token for a download on the 360 and not a disk based everything pack for the 360?
Now that is weird…..

Actually it isn’t. Remember, the 360 still uses DVDs. So this was expected.

but that is no what I meant, I said there no dvd for the 360 that contains all the content on the same disk.
you still get only the game and a token to download the rest.

And on the ps3 you get everything on the disk

Goes to show really, imagine if the game was a PS3 exclusive. Space going to waste in the original PS3 version clearly.

I finished the game once and really didn’t have any urge to go back and play it a second time. I don’t think that the DLC will change that for me.

On another note, is anyone else tired of watching that damn Assassins Creed 2 add loop time and time again on the side of the page? Stupid dead faces.
