RUSE beta starts on November 30

Ubi said today that a "VIP beta" for WWII RTS RUSE will begin on November 30.

The taster will include two factions - Germany and America - at the start, but will be updated to allow play with USSR, France, Italy and UK as the beta progresses.

It's a Steam-only thing, and "a limited number of codes are being distributed on different partner websites worldwide."

VIP BETA FOR R.U.S.E.™ STARTS ON NOVEMBER 30, 2009

LONDON, UK — November 18, 2009 — Today Ubisoft® announces that on November 30, 2009, the R.U.S.E. extended multiplayer VIP beta for PC will be available for installation to selected participants worldwide.

VIP beta content, which will initially include two factions (US and Germany), three maps and a chance for players to experience multiplayer features, will be updated on an ongoing basis throughout the beta time-frame with new content including four additional factions (USSR, France, Italy and UK), more maps and more game modes.

The VIP beta, designed for a limited number of players to get the full R.U.S.E. gameplay experience, will be available for download and installation on Steam. A limited number of codes are being distributed on different partner websites worldwide.

R.U.S.E., a one-of-a-kind real-time strategy game developed by Eugen Systems that allows players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation to victory, is scheduled for release during Q1 2010 on PC and home consoles. Putting a spin on the real-time strategy genre in a variety of ways, R.U.S.E.’s World War II scenarios with fast-paced, unpredictable battle situations and multiplayer features, creates a thrilling gaming environment that select VIP players will soon get a chance to enjoy and experience.
