That is… a really, really bad cover.

The perspective of her hand, the shape of their faces. It reeks of flaws and amateur design.

The woman looks like a skinnier version of Susan Boyle

It’s also not very… epic?

Kinda vanilla. But hey, we don’t judge by the cover, and I’ll likely buy a digital version, so I’ll never see it unless it’s on the splash screen.

It reminds me of Star Wars. I’m fairly sure one of the video (VHS) boxes had a similar style and tone.

I should also play the first mass effect. Heard it’s not too shabby.

While ME’s cover wasn’t that exciting, it at least didn’t try to look like one of them bloody Warhammer 40k “books” (friend of mine reads them…).

At least the first had some class.

Get rid of everyone but shepard, keep the backround. Would have been miles better.

Shepard is probably one of the worst part of that picture. It looks like his face was copy pasted onto that armour, with no thought for the perspective angle of the suit.

About the only part of that picture that looks natural is the alien in the bottom right hand corner.

I’m sure the game is going to be great, but my god, what a botch job.

I agree with you guys, it just doesn’t look very good. I hope BioWare will do a re-make.

That woman on the cover has the face of one of today’s popular actresses. I’ve seen her face before but now her name escapes me (Cameron Diaz maybe). At any rate, I don’t like that cover. I want to be able to print my own cover w/my Shephard on the front.

Well the first one is not so good either. As someone says the cover of the game doesnt matter. Not sure whats Bioware fascination with the whole 70s scifi box cover. It could have a drawing of Mr. Poo on the cover and I would get it.

It’s quite bad. But it’s not as bad as the art they were using before this version.
