Miyamoto: Mario Galaxy 2 is going to be a “really challenging” game
Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has said in an interview with ONM that Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be a “really challenging” game.
He also admitted that he isn’t sure the Super Guide from New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be in the game.
“As far as the challenge of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is concerned, I think it’s going to be a really challenging game, but whether or not we are going to incorporate the Super Guide, I just cannot tell.
“In general, wherever and whenever appropriate, I think we will want to incorporate that kind of thing, but I cannot commit to anything specific right now,” said Miyamoto.
Galaxy 2 is out in 2010.

Bloomin’ well hope so too.
Galaxy is a fantastic game but is generally a bit too easy. There are some challenging levels but more of them would be great. As long as they’re well designed and not hard because of cheap, lazy design.
Not that I can see that happening with Mario games.
NSMBW and Galaxy2? It’s a good time if you enjoy platformers

The first Galaxy was one of the best looking games this gen… The second only looks to improve on the first.

It had a certain appeal on an stylistic level, but I think you’d be going a little far to call it one of the best looking games this gen. Unless you mean one of the best looking games on the Wii this gen?
(and no, I don’t recall it looking that jaggy, I just noticed that the pic looked really iffy)

Galaxy was rock hard in places, but I enjoyed the challenge. Shame I’ll never get to appreciate galaxy 2 as I’m not in any hurry to buy a wii again. But show me what you got nintendo and my interest might be piquéd again.
