australiamap

Sony’s announced plans to give away another 10,000 PS3s with Bravias in Australia, mirroring a previous, similar promotion.

To get a free console, you need to:

  1. Be in Australia.
  2. Spend between AU$2,199 and AU$8,499 on a Bravia.
  3. Validate your purchase before December 1 in order to get the machine before Christmas.

Do all this will “save” you AU$499. Full details here.

or just buy a PS3 lol. I guess if someone happens to be shopping for a bravia anyway will just look at this as a bonus. I’m looking to upgrade to XBR 10 myself :)

I think this is something like the third time they’ve done this.

What’s the reason for Australia? Does PS3 perform bad there or what?

It’s probably because you can’t get any games for it. Because they’ve all been banned.

I guess if you can’t sell them. Give them away to build your base :)
