DICE: Bad Company 2 on PC is “tweaked and adjusted” to suit it
DICE has said that the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will not be a port, but “tweaked and adjusted” to suit it, and there will be a Beta for it as well.
“On the PC, it’s a PC version, which is getting that same treatment,” Gordon Van Dyke told IncGamers, “and then also a little bit more as PC users are generally used to a different type of experience than console users are, and we recognize that and we want to make sure that we give that to the PC market and give the console market more.
“We’re also going to have a PC beta, and we’ll announce more details on that at a later date.”

@ psycho – they havent really ignored the pc market. They brought out BF heroes as a nice ‘trial’ for micro transactions but hey, I dont care if DICE are jumping on the ‘MW2 is shit on the PC’ bandwagon as I will be more than happy to part for a game that has been designed for the PC, instead of a lazy port.

I hope they give us mod support with dlc for modders.
so all the hard core cod pc gamers can come over and make a much better communtiy

Excellent, cant wait for the BFBC2 beta.
I hope that they include a IWnet (the idea of IWnet isn’t so bad, but the execution…) system as well as the dedicated servers. So it lets users find a random server with players with similar “levels” as well as the ability to choose which server to go to manually.
