First LBP PSP reviews come in with great scores

LBP PSP

The first reviews for LittleBigPlanet’s PSP outing have come in from Eurogamer and play.tm.

They both gave the game a 9 and a 90% respectively. Here’s a snip from the EG review:

“In short, the “Play” aspect of LBP PSP is just as good as it is in the PS3 version. In fact it’s better in some regards thanks to the tweaked controls, reduction in the number of planes and more lenient checkpoint system. Most importantly, the environments you get to play through are just as beautiful, the puzzles just as ingenious and the difficulty level just as challenging.”

It’s out on November 17 in the US, and November 20 in the UK. Go get it, innit.

Thanks, Syrok.

I didn’t even realise this was nearly out. For some reason I’d gotten the idea it was still months away.

Know what saddens me about this? That the sales will be shit… and not because the game is, but because it’s on the piracy ridden PSP.

Is there a console bundle for this which isn’t turquoise? :-|

I’m going to give this a proper go. The PS3 version honestly didn’t appeal to me that much, but I really like the idea of being able to create platform levels on a portable. I reckon I’ll play it a lot.

Loved the PS3 version. Sure it had some teeth grinding moments but it stands as one of the best platformers I’ve ever played. The Create mode was fun, until I realised I had spent about 10 hours creating something that was essentially shit. You need serious time on your hands to build something decent. I think I’ll download this for my Go though, looks great. The ability to create levels/machines on the move is more appealing to me than sitting at a TV.

Too bad LBP doesn’t have a online/pc level creator. Would be loads easier using the mouse/keyboard to create the levels. EA offers an online/PC teambuilder for NCAA Football 2010. Much easier then working a gamepad.

I got the platinum rather fine without too much hassle. You just have to be patient on some levels.
