Japanese hardware sales, WE Nov. 1 – DSi maintains top spot

Media-Create has released the Japanese hardware sales for October 26 – November 1.
The winner? Why DSi of course, with 37,517 sold followed by PS3 with 36,061.
Here’s the full thing, courtesy of Gamespot:
- DSi – 37,517
- PS3 – 36,061
- PSP – 34,911
- PSP Go – 29,109
- Wii – 28,888
- DS Lite – 6,902
- Xbox 360 – 6,047
- PS2 – 1,966

Technically the psp won because 34 + 29 = more than 37 + 7.

Should be interesting to see the PSP Go sales over the next few weeks. I’m not sure Sony will be particularly happy that they’re being displayed separately though.

Speaking of two different handhelds, I am wondering how much longer it will be before my DS Lite is being used as a paper weight because DSi has rendered it useless.

PS3 seems to be beating the Wii every week now. The Wii bubble seems to have burst, it seems odd to think how insanely high those sales used to be.
