FFXIII boxart officially revealed

Square Enix has lifted the wraps of what appears to be the Japanese boxart of Final Fantasy XIII
It’s now live on the Square Enix shop to look at. It’s here.
Apparently, it was meant to be something like this, but now, it seems, it was just a placeholder.
This could be the boxart for the UK and EU as well, if past boxarts are anything to go by, so don’t be surprised to see the same cover when it releases here next spring.
The game is out in Japan on December 17 for PS3.

I can’t say I’m surprised.
The only time they’ve not done this (for a PAL release of anything past FFVII anyways) would’ve been… Crisis Core/Dirge of C. But I dunno if they count.

Thank Gods they didn’t go with the placeholder rubbish. It looked like American box-art.
