PC download chart coming next year

wowc2

Digital download sales will be included with retail sales in the UK PC chart from the start of next year, Chart-Track boss Dorian Bloch said yesterday.

Speaking at Tuesday’s London Games Conference, Bloch said that from the start of 2010, publishers and digital distributors will be able to submit sales data for the official chart.

Good news, yo. More on GI.

Just about the Ashes sales on PC. Why would anyone want that muck on their PC?

Yet again, the industry has been slow to respond to the digital market and all we hear now is that ‘downloading is the future.’

But as I mentioned elsewhere, our crappy ISPs need to sort out their download caps because otherwise it could prove to be too expensive for the consumer who might be purchasing 2-3 games in a month during the peak period (for example)
