Hideo Kojima has followed up his Zone of Enders blog post from last week with a new entry stating how surprised he was over staff and public reaction to it.

“The reaction [to the post] was greater than I’d expected,” he wrote. “The comments topped the 100 mark, and the access count reached levels of the Tokyo Game Show time. It was picked up in a variety of places, including the net and press, and spread throughout the world.”

Over at Kojima Productions, former ZOE staff members in the building were so excited, they asked to be a part of the next installment, wanted to know when it be started on, and one even decorated his desk in ZOE style.

Kojima was even a bit shocked to hear rumors that used prices for the previous two games had gone up as well.

People really love theses games, we reckon.

You know the game aside, this guy is way too full of himself. I would say this swagger and aerogance is a major problem in jp dev comunities. In all honestly, if he made a zone game it wouldn’t be out for lest two years. And it does come out in the west(6 months later), it will launch to luke warm reviews 5/10 to 7/10. Will have overly flamboyant char designs, while the gameplay, and game layout will feel dated. Some fans won’t care, but most will wonder what the fuss is all about. In the end the game never gets higher then 6 on the top ten sales charts, and fades out in a month never to return.

And yet thro all of this he acts like he a rock star.
