Surprise of the show. It’s the most instant fun we’ve had with a car and a games console for a long time.
The game’s out for PC, PS3 and 360 early next year.

I’m not all that excited by the video to be honest. Will wait and see what the demo offers.
It’ll take quite a lot to shake Burnout Paradise’s grip in terms of action packed racing.

I love split/second, but Blur is fantastic in it’s own right.

Maybe so, but IMHO Blur is an Audi R8 to Split/Second’s Bugatti Veyron. It’s just not in the same league, despite appearing to share similarities at first glance.

further proof of how blur is just twisted metal/mario kart/diddy kong racing style pick-up-items+hit-enemies+win-race with another look and slight changes, how NFS:Shift/Forza3/GT5 r all real-as-possible-since-u-can’t-drive-yet games imitating life, and how this game stands out from both subgenres of racing games.
btw, this game reminds me of Death Race a lot. still though, original as a game nontheless.

I probably need to play the demo before actually judging it officially though.
