EA: Battlefield 3′s in development, looking good
Are you itching for some large-scale virtual warfare? Well, right now, you have three choices: Battlefield: Heroes, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 1943. Or! You could wait and see what’s behind the Battlefield 3-shaped mystery door. Oh, the suspense is killing us!
Thankfully, G4 picked the mystery door and, predictably enough, Battlefield 3 was its prize.
“I’ve had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product,” EA chief operating office John Pleasants said. “Of course, that’s not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good.”
Pleasants, you tease. We like our leaks plump and juicy – not desert-dry. Huh? “Beggars can’t be choosers”? Never heard of ‘em. Are they, like, a band or something?

Please oh lease that Battlefield 3 have 2 versions like 2. One hardcore(like what is BF2 on PC) for us the PC gamers and one for the cosole crowd. Please DICE.

Because releasing the game on console would be disrespecting PC gamers? I fail to understand your logic.

Because Gekidami 1942 and 2 are aimed for the PC crowd and are not what the major console gamers like. So we(PC gamers) want BF3 to be PC-centric game and play as a PC game and not as a game which is aimed for the console crowd. I am not aginst a console version but only if the PC version don’t suffer from that.

Doubt it’ll be nerfed for the console crowd, although I cant see it having dedicated server support this time around. Lack of dedi server support in games in now becoming the norm in an effort to combat piracy methinks.
