Dragon Age: Origins dated for PS3
Back when Dragon Age was delayed into November, the PS3 version was curiously banished into the month’s furthest reaches. However, no specific date or reason was given. Now, though, EA’s seen fit to spill the beans.
It’s coming on November 17, EA’s David Silverman told Joystiq. Why? Apparently, BioWare “wanted more time to get [the] PS3 [version] to ‘Bioware standards.’”
The game’s hitting the Xbox 360 and PC on November 3 in North America and November 6 in Europe. We’ve taken the liberty of emailing EA to make sure the November 17 date applies to Eurpean PS3 owners as well. If not, we’ll be sure to let you know.

lol up to their standards.. just like you weren’t forced by EA to delay the PC version so the Xbox version came out at the same time. Bioware I love ya.. but stop shoveling the BS!

I thought it was set to be out on the 20th, for European PS3 owners? That’s what online retail is saying anyway.

Or it might be that the game was developed for the PC/360 hardware first and was later ported to the PS3. When this happens the PS3 versions usually tend to suffer. They might be putting some extra effort to make sure that this doesn’t happen.

When EA bought out Bioware they made Bioware postpone the PC until Fall, October 20th. They saw this wasn’t going to happen so they pushed the release for PC, 360 to November 3rd on that same day as that announcement they also stated Ps3 will take only a couple weeks longer which obviously they were right.
@Splatterhouse Its the 17th for US for EU If I remember this correctly their release dates are usually Friday? If that thats the case that is infact the 20th of Nov.

They said keep it Dragon Age related ~_~ Learn to read.
And the announcement is Ps3 version of Dragon age will be infact released on the 3rd.

Also Bioware still states that EU is unknown for the Ps3 version later in november.
