Microsoft’s Major Nelson has sent word (via Twitter, naturally) that invites for the New Social Networking Experience preview program will be along shortly.

“The preview schedule: We close sign ups later today and (if all goes well) send first wave of notification emails Friday,” he said.

And that’s all he wrote.

I still can’t fathom the point behind all this.

HAHA!
I have liked FB waaaaaaaaaaay more than I thought I would. Although to be perfectly honest I think 95% of my time there is spent playing Mafia Wars and no Castle Age.
When I was teaching college all the students loved FB and listening to them talk made me gag…I thought ‘why would someone want that drama’. However, when you are 40 (like me) it is nice to be on FB just to see how old looking all your old classmates are! =p
I can’t see the point of Twitter unless you are famous and have a following or something. Oh well, its free and I never have to use it. I will use the FB part to check that occationally but when Im on the 360 Im not in the FB mode, know what I mean?
