Shadow Complex devs confirm new project
Chair Entertainment co-founder Donald Mustard has confirmed to MTV Multiplayer that the developer is working on a new game, saying only as much that it’s in “the design phase.”
“We’re definitely working on…things. I’m just not going to tell you what it is…we’re still evaluating in the design phase.”
Is it Shadow Complex 2? We’d like to think so. It’s one of the best games released this year.

I’m not sure if it’ll be a direct sequel to Shadow Complex following Jason Flemming again, i’d expect it to be another story inspired by Orson Scott Card’s Empire and Hidden Empire novels. I’m pretty sure Donald Mustard has previously said that they’ll do multiple games from the Empire Universe however each will be different(As in not a 2.5D action/adventure game)

Shadow Complex was brilliant. More of the same but different would easily be enough to hook me in again.

Same here. Shadow Complex had me hooked for days to get that elusive 100% items. Chair’s next project -whether a direct sequel or new altogether- will definitely be on my radar.

I’d love another Shadow Complex too, getting to 100% was great fun (although I had to cheat to find the final key card as it was hidden in a room that already had an item in it).
