Plotline for Resident Evil: Afterlife surfaces, needs Don LaFontaine

milla

The plotline synopsis for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, Afterlife, has been revealed over on Screen Gems (via ComingSoon).

Sounding like something Don “In a World….” LaFontaine would have spoken for the theatrical trailer, the film synopsis reveals that Alice and survivors are seeking refuge in LA only to be sadly mistaken regarding what awaits them.

Here it is:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Damn we miss LaFontaine. He made everything better.

Any chance this will be the (extremely hot) old friend?

edit: BOOYA!

From Sienna Guilleroy’s filmography:

2010 Resident Evil: Afterlife Jill Valentine

I might watch this now :-D

edit2: will this thread now go off on a massive tangent because Milla has “no ass” in the article picture?

Since Don is now dead, you can use either David Hayter OR Pablo Francisco ;)

@freedoms_stain

Doubt it. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna bring this guy back somehow:

Didn’t they almost have a love story going on in the previous two movies?

I would like to have JIll back, though :-D

Didn’t they say Jill was dead in the last film? I assumed Milla Jovovich got Sienna Guillory dropped from the last film because Jill was so much more popular than Alice.

Of the films so far I think Jill and the Nemesis are the only things that show any resemblance to the games they’re based on. Maybe the Licker too.

Yep, Apocalypse was definitely the lesser of the evils giving gamers aleast the same setting as one of the games.
Then Extinction came out… /facepalm.
