First Saw reviews don't exude promise

saw4

Saw: The Videogame is apparently on the verge of release; IGN's just given it 7.5/10 in its first review.

It doesn't sound like the most amazing thing in the world:

It would have taken a lot more polish and time to put Saw up there with the kings of the survival horror genre. But the developers are definitely onto something, and I'd like to see the Saw games improve over time. For now, some of the puzzles repeat a few times too many while the plot points and big scares at times run thin.

But never mind. Buy it anyway. The video review's after the break, if you want to see it in action.

As for the rest:

It's out on November 20. Who knew?
