Amazon drops Wii to £140

Sell the new version at £140 and I might buy one again.

How things change. Stock clearance necessary for the Wii a couple of months prior to Christmas

I’ve got the feeling Nintendo was caught off guard in this situation, while Sony prepared the whole “price-cut / introduction of new PS3 form” much better…

Seiously if they dropped the price to £50 I’d still not buy one again.

I have one 2 years and have only played it once.
I just never see any games I would like on it.

I bought mine and didn’t even bother opening it. In fact it’s still at the shop along with the 22 casual crap games I’ve bought for it since (all lame ass SD shit). I mean what the feck were Nintendo thinking, I’ve been playing HD games since the 90′s.

If you never opened it how can you know they’re crap?

a) I was being sarcastic
b) Wii very much unwrapped and at home
c) 22 games of joy (well nearly… Mario Strikers Charged – much prefer GC version)
d) couldn’t care less about HD – had it way back on the pc and it didn’t stop me from enjoying snes, n64, gamecube, playstation, ps2, saturn, dreamcast, xbox.

Not that anybody mentioned HD but what the feck – it was all ‘wouldn’t buy it again unless they gave me a house and a ferrari and some proper hardcore games whatever the hell they are’ typical nintendo response comment spam crap. But hey – it’s Friday

No thanks. All of those are Japanesse, number one. And number two, are you really recomending games based on childrens shows? Sorry friend, but those days are LONG gone for most of the readers here. And honestly if your into those type of games you just listed, why not just get a PS2, most of those type of games are on there and are a lot cheaper. And in some cases(in terms of control) simply play better. Anyways, enjoy your games. But no thanks.
