Curt Schilling's 38 Studios at work on PS3 game

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and his 38 Studios are working on an RPG for PS3, if two posted job openings are any indication.

One listing is for a senior PS3 programmer with "significant hands-on technical contributions on at least one on a AAA-level PS3 title", with the other being for a lead art director who will "be working on an RPG for the PS3 platform".

There is also a listing for a narrative designer on the company's website for someone with a "minimum of one AAA title shipped as a designer on PC or console (experience in RPGs preferred)".

The listings are for Schilling's recently acquired Big Huge Games, so it is being speculated that it could be one of three things: A new project entirely, the RPG already in the works during the acquisition, or to work on a port of 38's MMO Copernicus.

38 Studios is comprised of Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, EverQuest designer Travis McGeathy, Forgotten Realms and Star Wars author R. A. Salvatore, and folks who worked on Oblivion.
