Ubisoft has suggested that the Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Conviction will take full advantage of the console's strengths.

"There's going to be a really strong partnership with Microsoft," producer, Alexandre Parizeau told CVG. "Obviously we'll do everything that we can do to make sure that the experience is indebted with whatever the Xbox has to offer.

"I want to make sure that when the game hits the shelves the disc will 'meld' with your Xbox 360 - it's meant for the Xbox 360 and it will show.

"We've been working with Microsoft for a while now. We've been working with their engineers - we've had super good feedback from them on all sorts of different things. It's been a really good partnership with them.

"They're backing us up. There's no question that they're supporting the game to its fullest."
