LittleBigPlanet working with PS3 motion tech – video

littlebigplanet16

After the break. It shows the LBP motion tech demo from yesterday’s magically appearing Sony TGS press conference, featuring a woman playing with the motion stick and a guy using a standard controller.

Looking nice and interesting. And cute as ever.

PS3′s motion system releases next spring. Thanks, Syrok.

Hmmm hardly awe inspiring…

Motion Controller is used to alter the world, whilst a DS3 is used to play sackboy…

Looks interesting, i like the way it could incorperate new gameplay but you have to atleast be 2 people? Thats a bit lame.

Why is designing something to utilise two players lame? No doubt those two people don’t have to be in the same room – the same country even. Community gaming.

We always play LBP with at least two players, I reckon this motion control mode could be a good laugh. Still not sure on the look of the controller though…

I think it looks very interesting. Extending the co-op/nasty nature of the game which is already there. Wasn’t expecting them to do it like that but pleased they did as it expands the game possibilities (yet again).

Adding an Analog stick makes so much sense!!!
If Sony is worried that Devs are going to reduce motion to waggle action, Kick in Quality Control!
Or create new libraries that make recognizing gestures/ tracking arms and collision detection accessible
